The Seashell Anatomy is Amazing

As you can see, there are two kind’s of Mollusks (phylum mollusca). Seashells are the protective or supportive skeletons of mollusks.

The most common shells are from snails (with one coiled shell) and bivalves (with two hinged shells). Snails are gastropods, as are sea slugs and sea hares, which have an internal shell or none at all.
